Rose Hive No. 1 is an exquisite one-of-a-kind work from the Bee Love Rock Art Pink Bee Series, a limited collection of seven individually created pieces celebrating the beauty of bees, rare stones, copper, and the extraordinary artistry found within nature.
At the heart of this piece is a remarkable collection of pink and rose-toned natural stones, each selected for its individual color, pattern, texture, and character. Congo-sourced pink turquoise is joined by the rich raspberry tones of rhodolite, soft translucent blush stone, and beautifully patterned pink stones whose darker natural veining creates an almost botanical design across their surfaces.
The larger rose-colored stones are especially striking. Their blush, cream, and deeper pink tones are crossed by fine dark markings that resemble tiny branches, roots, or pathways formed within the earth. Beside them, the luminous pale-pink stone introduces softness and transparency, while the deeper faceted gemstone adds richness and dimension.
Hand-shaped copper winds organically around the stones, following their natural contours rather than concealing them. The copper becomes part of the composition—like vines growing around mineral formations—bringing warmth, movement, and sculptural character to the piece.
A beautiful pink bee rests beneath golden honeycomb detailing, transforming the geological composition into a celebration of pollinators and the living world. The jeweled wings catch the light while the pink body connects beautifully with the stones above it.
